Santa and Holiday Bokeh

A look back on the Santa's we've seen. Izzy's first year to visit Santa was with my favorite Man In Red. I saw that Santa when I was a little girl.

This year, we saw a fantastic Santa, who came to visit us during Playgroup. He was amazing and every detail you can imagine was not left out in the kiddo's visit. The girls went to him with no problems at all and knew exactly what they were going to ask for.

Emily requested a Rapunzel doll.

Izabel requested a Pony. Yes, really, a Pony!! :)

Alexander was as casual as could be and didn't mind sitting with Santa either. He asked Santa to bring Mommy some sleep. Or so I heard. lol!

He was a great Santa! Doesn't he just look like the Santa you have always imagined? Eyebrows and all. :)

Next up, some Holiday Bokeh.

Because even when things seem out of focus, they are still magical.

We are all ready for Christmas here. Everything is bought, wrapped, stuffed and mailed. Our Christmas chain indicates 4 more sleeps until Christmas and our cards are strung along a string on the wall. I'll be baking a little more for some after dinner goodies, but other than that, The Handsome Husband and I are super excited for Saturday morning.

Stream Of Randomness

We've been a little busy, so here is a quick update on what we've been up to. Enjoy!

I had the chance to photograph the 45th annual Mineral Water Bowl again this year. It was awesome, as it was last year, but so much colder this year. It took two days before I could feel my fingers and toes.

Emmy had her 3 year check up and Alexander had his 4 month check up. Emmy is 36.5 inches tall and 37 pounds. She's doing great and right on track with where she needs to be. We are still working on writing her name, but she knows her letters and numbers pretty well.

Alexander weighed in at 17 pounds, 10 ounces and his 24 inches long. He's a growing boy! He can sit pretty well and he's really holding his neck and head very well. Well enough and hungry enough, that we were given the okay to start cereal. He's only interested in about one tablespoon a day, but we aren't rushing him. He's smiling and talking all the time now.

This last weekend, we took the kids to Union Station and Science City. We had a lot of fun before the snowstorm blew through. haha! The girls really enjoyed the hands on aspect of the place and all of the trees and model trains that were on exhibit. Emmy had her fair share of dino interaction and Izzy really loved playing in the underground city tunnels.

And that my friends, has been keeping us busy. Well, that and the snowfall we had Saturday. We've still not left the house since. lol! It's been very cold here and so windy. The girls did go out and play in the snow for a bit with Daddy yesterday. However, myself, my camera and Alexander, stayed nestled up warm in front of the tv. :)

11 More sleeps until Christmas!
