It's not like we haven't had any snow this Winter. In fact, we've had more snow this Winter than any other that my terrible memory can recall. I am done with the snow and wish it would melt away and never return, but little girls find it to be so much fun. And Daddy's too.
It was finally warm enough this past weekend to actually let the girls out of the house to play in the snow. It wasn't sunny and the snow was still very much coming down, but we made it out and it lasted for almost an hour. I can't remember them ever having so much fun. They loved every minute of it.
Izzy's aim is quite amazing, and because I had the camera, Daddy was a great snowball target. LOL!! He was hammered more than a few times. Emmy is still a little short, so poofy snow pants and deep snow make it hard for her to get around, but she enjoys every second. She made snow angels and found sledding to be quite the most amazing thing ever. This year of course, was her first sledding experience.
As for my lack of posting/blogging/commenting, well I could list off many things that have kept me from them, but nothing really big stands out. It's almost Spring, and while that seems backwards, once the sun comes out, I'll be getting out more and posting more! :) So, hang in there, I will return.
In fact, (if I write it, it might happen) I hope to get to a Baby #3 update tonight. I've got loads of sono pics and news from out last appointment as well as our genetic counseling. So, hound me a little, I might get that up sooner than later.
More PHOTOS over on FLICKR.! Enjoy!

Happy 4th Birthday Izabel Grace
In just a few hours time, my little Princess Izabel will be turning four years old.
Four Years!
My Dearest Izabel, I can still remember what it felt like when Daddy and I found out you were growing inside my tummy. I can remember the day you were born. To actually hold you in my arms for the first time was bliss. You were everything we had hoped for and so much more.
Four years has given you plenty of time to figure out who you are. You are a Princess, and you will tell anyone who asks. You are smart and rambunctious, constantly on the move and more of a talker than myself. *That's says a lot. LOL! Even though you have yet to start school, you know so very much. Sometimes you even surprise Daddy and I with your knowledge. Curiosity and endless questions are a normal day for you. Nothing goes un-noticed by you.
Izzy, you love to be outdoors, running and jumping and skipping. You are currently enrolled in Ballet lessons once a week and you enjoy it very much. You continue to love coloring and drawing, read books and watch Spongebob. You love to play Mommy with your little sister Emmy and then cuddle with me while she naps.
Food is still not a high priority on your list, but you manage to grow so there are no concerns. You like apples a lot and green beans. Meat doesn't even rate with you. And of course milk. You love your milk.
While all these things are monumental and yet trivial to your last four years, they are important to me. You are such a beautiful and talented little girl and each one of your milestones marks a path for your great achievements. Even though you are stubborn and fight me with every word you can muster, I wouldn't want you any other way. You have made my life amazing and I can't wait to see what the next year brings.
Daddy and I love you very much. Bunches. Forever. and Always.

A Trim Trim Here and A Trim Trim There
Izzy and Emmy went for haircuts last weekend. This was Miss Emmy's first haircut but it was really just a tiny trim. She has such tight and prefect curls and I didn't want them to disappear. She watched Izzy go first but was still a little jittery when she got in the chair and put on the special Harry Potter cape. She wanted to watch everyone else and turn her head at just the moment the hairdresser needed to snip. LOL! Overall she did great though and the most we took off was up in front, so she could see again.
This was Izzy's 3rd haircut and she did great. Sadly, I had the hairdresser cut off quite a bit. About 4 inches in fact. It was so long and pretty but Izzy is still learning to take care of her hair and I was tired of fighting through the knots at the end of the day. She was nervous because she didn't want her hair short "like a boy", but I made sure and kept it long enough for piggies.
