Good Morning and Happy New Year! We are experiencing a very chilly morning today, but I managed to get Izzy bundled and to school. I won't complain too much about this chilly morning, as we have been having the most mild Winter I can ever remember. It's been great! In fact, I think we have a couple of 60 degree days coming next week. =)
So, here we are in January and Izzy has been in Kindergarten for 6 months! Some mornings I still can't believe my first born needs to get ready for school.
Izzy has been doing great and following great in the education system. She's integrated herself very well. Of course, those of you that have school age children know that as parents, we too must jump into the system and participate right along with our Littles.

One big thing that Izzy and our family began doing at the beginning of the school year, is collecting Box Tops. I even began changing brands that I buy, just so we could collect the Box Tops. haha!
Box Tops 4 Education, a program designed to assist in earning money for America's schools. A way for you, the parent and the child, to give back to your school and make it even better. And, we think it's fun!
There are so many brands that participate in Box Tops. Betty Crocker, Bisquick, Fiber One, Nestle Juicy Juice, tons of cereals such as Cheerios,Corn Chex and Lucky Charms. Hefty, Pillsbury, Green Giant, Totinos, Old El Paso, Land O Lakes, Yoplait, Nature Valley and Ziploc. JUST TO NAME A FEW! Box Tops are everywhere! =)
My Blog Spark and
Sam's Club contacted me with some great news and gave me the opportunity to shop. And what a better way to collect Box Tops, IN BULK! Right now Sam's Club has some limited products that offer 6 BOX TOPS!
"At least 6 Bonus Box Tops will be located on your favorite return-to-school brands such as Nature Valley Oats 'N Honey Crunchy Granola Bars, Yoplait and Progresso."Every couple of weeks, Izzy's teacher sends home a collection sheet, with a seasonal design, for her to color. Each sheet is also a Box Tops entry form. Izzy colors the page and then glues as many as 10 Box Tops to the page to turn in for her school. Each Box Tops collection sheet accounts for $1.00, as each Box Top is worth 10 cents! Below is an example of the Winter sheet, but you can also find more
